Director | Former Touring AVP and FIVB Professional
Head Coach Matt Heath brings over 10 years of professional volleyball experience, including 53 AVP Tour events and representing the USA in 14 countries across 4 continents on the FIVB Tour. As one of seven High Performance Coaches for Florida USA Volleyball, he works with the state’s top players to prepare for national events. Matt has trained with legends like Karch Kiraly, Butch May, and Olympians Jake Gibb, Sean Rosenthal, Todd Rogers, and Riley Salmon, and was a former roommate of Olympic gold medalists Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena. His elite-level experience, combined with a passion for teaching, allows him to share advanced skills and strategies in a fun, positive training environment that emphasizes proper beach techniques.
Wes Hawkins
Fitness Director
Wes Hawkins began his volleyball journey in 2010 as a member of the Men’s Club team at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. During his four years on the team, he served as captain for two seasons, earned Co-MVP honors, and helped lead his team to the semi-finals of the 2013 NCVF 1-AAA National Championship. After a brief period in Europe pursuing professional indoor volleyball, Wes returned to the United States to focus on professional beach volleyball. Since beginning his competitive beach career in 2012, he has won multiple Open-Level events across the country and is currently working toward qualifying for the Professional Beach Tour.
