Vero Beach Volleyball is a 9-court sand volleyball facility in Vero Beach, Fl.  This first of its kind facility provides recreational leagues for adults, professional training by Olympic athletes and tournaments.

Head Coach/Owner - Matt Heath

Former Touring AVP and FIVB Professional

 

Head Coach Matt Heath competed professionally for over 10 years including 53 events on the AVP Tour (Association of Volleyball Professionals), domestically, and he has represented the USA in 14 different countries on 4 different continents with the FIVB Tour (Federation International de Volleyball), the premiere international tour.  He is currently one of 7 High Performance Coaches for the Florida Region of USA Volleyball.  This position allows him to work with the state's best players in their preparation for National events.

 

SARAH HARPER

INDOOR AND BEACH COACH
 

Sarah is from Charlottesville, Virginia in high school she was 1st Team All-State for three years with an honorable mention her Freshman season. Named Region Player of the Year and 2x District Player of the Year. Sarah went on to play Division I volleyball for the University of Maryland as Libero. She holds the Career record for digs and is first and second for single-season digs in the program's history. In addition, Sarah led the ACC in digs per set her senior season with an average of 4.94. After graduating she shifted her focus to the beach game. She has since won multiple Open level Women’s and Co-ed tournaments and is currently chasing her dream of becoming a professional beach volleyball player.

Wes Hawkins

 

Wes Hawkins began his volleyball career in 2010 on the Men’s club team at University of North Carolina-Wilmington. Hawkins played four years, serving two as captain and Co- MVP of the team, and helped take his team to the semi-finals in the 2013 NCVF 1-AAA National Championship. After a brief stint in Europe pursuing professional indoor, he returned to the US to pursue professional beach. He began his competitive beach career in the summer of 2012,  Hawkins has since won multiple Open-Level events all over the country and is currently attempting to qualify for the Professional Beach tour.​
