Jaime Loomis
At VBVB we workout to promote strength but, as athletes ourselves, we know it’s not a matter of if we get hurt but when.   Did you know: there are 250,000 ACL injuries annually in the US alone, 70% are non-contact sports injuries, mostly in athletes ages 15-25, and females are more at risk.  WE KNOW THESE CAN BE AVOIDED!  Early detection and preventative measures will keep us in the game!

We are lucky to have Jaime Loomis on our team.  An assessment with her can let our athletes know what might be lurking around the corner and how to keep us strong and active.

About Jaime Loomis

When I was 16 years old I herniated a disc in my cervical spine playing water sports. I received an order for Physical Therapy because I was having nerve pain radiating into my shoulders and down my arms.

With the help of my Physical Therapist, I have learned how to manage my pain while continuing to perform all of the sports and activities I love. I became a Physical Therapist to help others have the same success.

I am a former multi-sport athlete, an avid exerciser and very active in general. Since my initial injury that introduced me to Physical Therapy I have also herniated a disc in my low back, but I again had a full recovery without surgery, injections or medication. I am able perform all of the normal workouts and recreation I have always enjoyed.

I love my job and I love to be active. I want to make sure I can stay active well into my later years. I have found through many years of experience in various settings that the key to performing at my highest capacity requires a healthy spine and proper alignment.

My background as an athlete, doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Personal Trainer make me the optimal professional to work with young athletes to prevent unnecessary and non-contact injuries as well as effectively and efficiently treating non-preventable injuries to get athletes back to peak performance as soon as possible.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Dayton in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Education and Allied Professions.

I graduated from Northwestern University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012.

I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2022.

I have practiced in every setting of Physical Therapy. I currently perform and specialize in: manual techniques including, pelvic mobilizations, soft tissue mobilizations, IASTM and trigger release. I use the McKenzie method to treat the lumbar, thoracic and cervical pain. I also perform Neuro Rehab for Parkinson’s, stroke, SCI and vertigo.
